-Job Description:
1. Brand Management:
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with brands and vendors
* Negotiate terms, agreements and contracts to ensure favourable terms for the platform
* Working closely with vendors to ensure product availability and quality
* Ensure timely payments to the brands as per the initial agreement
2. Product Assortment:
* Curate and manage the product assortment for assigned categories
* Identify and onboard new brands and products to enhance the overall category offerings and options
* Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchase team to ensure optimal stock levels
* Also be responsible to conduct timely Retail Promotion Activations
3. Pricing and Promotions:
* Analyse pricing trends, competitive pricing and market dynamics to set and adjust prices
* Develop and execute promotional strategies to drive sales and increase market share
* Monitor the effectiveness of pricing and promotional activities and make adjustments as needed
4. Sales & KPIs:
* Increase sales and orders within the category on MoM, QoQ, YoY level
* Maintain a healthy gross margins on the overall Sales and Growth
5. Data Analysis:
* Utilize analytics tools and data to track and analyse KPIs for assigned categories
* Make data-driven decisions to optimize product listings, pricings and promotions
* Identify opportunity for improvements and implement strategies to enhance category performance
6. Strategic Planning & Risk Management:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy aligned with overall business goals
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences and competitor activities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category strategies with marketing, sales and supply chain initiatives
* Mitigate risks related to product quality, safety and compliances
7. Performance Reporting:
* Prepare and present regular reports on category performances to management
* Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
8. Innovation & Adaptability:
* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and e-commerce best practices
* Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the competitiveness of assigned categories
